Collected Personal Data
We collect the following information about users during registration:
First name
Used to represent the user in top lists, messages, and groups. When users create teams, it is possible to search for first names. We can also search for first names in our administration tool.
Surname
Used to represent the user in top lists, messages, and groups. When users create teams, it is possible to search for their surname. We can also search for surnames in our administration tool.
Birthday
Used primarily to verify that the user is of age. We can also generate statistics such as for example step averages for all users over 50 years or how many percentage of users that are between 30 and 40 years old. Birthday is personal and is not shown to other users at the individual level. We can also search for users using birthday in our administration tool.
Sex
Used to generate statistics such as for example step averages for all men or how many percentages of users are women. The sex of the user is personal and is not shown for other users at the individual level. We can also search users by gender in our administration tool.
Post address
Used to assist the user in support cases if we need to send something to the user. We can also search users by post address in our administration tool. Post address is personal and is not displayed to other users at the individual level.
Zip code
Used to assist the user in support cases if we need to send something to the user. We can also search users by postcode in our administration tool. Zip code is personal and is not displayed to other users at the individual level.
City
Used to assist the user in support cases if we need to send something to the user. We can also search users by the county in our administration tool. The county is personal and is not displayed to other users at the individual level.
Country
Used to assist the user in support cases if we need to send something to the user. We can also search users by country in our administration tool. The country is personal and does not appear for other users at the individual level.
Phone number
Used to assist the user in support cases. We can also search users by phone number in our administration tool. A phone number is personal and is not displayed to other users.
E-mail address
Used for communication with the user such as for example information about the progress of the challenge. Used during password reset. We can also search users by using the email address in our administration tool. Email is personal and is not displayed to other users. Email address is also used for promotion of future events and in that case, email address is shared with an external vendor for mailing newsletters.
Username
Used together with a password during user login to verify the identity of the user. We can also search users using usernames in our administration tool. When users create teams, it is possible to search for usernames and see other users' usernames.
Password
Used together with username during user login to verify the identity of the user. The password is not stored in plain text but as a checksum from a hash function. Passwords are personal and cannot be seen by anyone else, not even people who have access to the administrative tool or direct access to the database.
Data collected when the user is logged in
Steps/activities
Information about the user's physical activity is linked to the user's account. Is shown for other users at the individual level.
Step data
The user manually inputs steps from, for example, a step counter. Steps are entered together with the time when the steps were taken. The steps can also be entered automatically from for example a mobile phone or activity bracelet if the user has installed an app or integrated an activity bracelet. These data are used to generate and show statistics, such as step averages for the user.
Activity data
The user can manually enter an activity that he/she has performed. The user enters the type of activity, the number of minutes the activity was performed and the time at which the activity was performed. These data are used to generate and display statistics such as step or minute averages for the user.
Activity data (checkbox)
The user can manually check an activity as performed. For example. that you have attended a seminar and can then get steps/minutes/points for this. The user then checks off the activity together with the time when the activity was performed. These data are used to generate and display statistics, such as step or minute averages for the user.
BMI-check
Information about the user's BMI value. Linked to the user's account. Collected in order for the user to keep track of his BMI value and track progress during the challenge. Also used to generate statistics for the entire challenge. Not shown to other users at the individual level.
Length
Used to calculate a BMI value for the user. Length is personal and is not displayed to any other user. The final BMI can be used for generating overall statistics in a challenge such as how the average BMI over all the participants in a challenge has changed during the challenge.
Weight
Used to calculate a BMI value for the user. Weight is personal and is not displayed to any other user. The final BMI can be used for generating overall statistics in a challenge, such as how average BMI over all participants in a challenge has changed during the challenge.
Calorie check
Information about the user's eating habits. Linked to the user's account. Collected in order for the user to get an overview of how much energy is consumed and then to compare it with how much energy is consumed. Not shown to other users at the individual level.
Food
The user can enter the type of food, amount of food, meal (for example breakfast) and time of ingestion. With these data, the user can get an overview of how many calories the user has acquired during a period of time. These data are personal and are not displayed to other users.
Length
Used with weight to calculate user metabolism. With the metabolism along with calories, it is possible to compare the number of steps to get an overview of the total energy balance. Length is personal and is not displayed to any other user.

Carbon dioxide check
Information about what transport the user is using. Linked to the user's account. Collected in order for the user to see how much carbon dioxide he/she is using and compare it with other means of transportation. Also used to generate statistics for the entire challenge. Not shown to other users at the individual level.
Transport
The user can enter a means of transport used instead of another and how long distance it was used. It is also saved when the transport was carried out. For example. that the user has cycled 10 km instead of driving a car on May 1, 2018. These data are personal and are not displayed to any other user.
The transportation is used to calculate how much carbon dioxide the user has saved. Saved carbon dioxide can then be used for statistics in a challenge, such as a user's saved carbon dioxide or how much carbon dioxide all users in a challenge has saved.
Fitness age
Information about the physical fitness of the user. Linked to the user's account. Collected in order for the user to be able to see his "fitness age" in a simple way. The tool calculates an age based on the user fitness. Also used to record statistics for the entire challenge. Not shown to other users at the individual level.
Training information
The user can enter information about his or her own exercising. How often, how long and how heavy you exercise. The training information is personal and is not displayed to any other user.
Waistline measure
Used in conjunction with exercise tasks and rest periods to calculate the age of fitness. Waistline measure is personal and is not displayed to any other user. The final fitness age can be used for generating statistics in a challenge such as how the fitness age of all the participants in a challenge has changed during the challenge.
Resting pulse
Used in conjunction with exercise tasks and waist sizes to calculate age of fitness. Resting pulse is personal and will not be displayed to any other user. The final fitness age can be used for generating statistics in a challenge, such as how the fitness age of all the participants in a challenge has changed during the challenge.
